I got the perfect job to finish my schooling with and use for my internship! Oh and it is paid which is a great bonus. Playworks put me in a school in downtown Rochester and allowed me to structure the recess and keep the kids playing in a way that I thought was best. Playworks also sharpened my special event skills by having me host a few in school events, including building our own Gaga pit.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have started earlier I'm the year. But that's how things go and I'm excited to start another year at this great non profit
Advice
Use handshake to look for jobs! Looking through the web I would get lost between old applications or scams. If I didn't happen to check out handshake that one day I would've never seen the description to this non profit that continues to grow in Rochester.
