I loved working at Jockey. My employers and the Design team was really helpful and willing to make me feel part of the team. This internship made me realize my next steps for the future.
What I wish was different
I wish I could learn how to work on some textile programs, however due to time limitations I did not have the chance.
Advice
Never be nervous of your personality in the work place. You should be you, feel confident about yourself, your acknowledgments, talents and skills! Your employers will acknowledge your confidence in your work, and only good things will come to your way!

What I liked
The people, the atmosphere, and the work!
What I wish was different
Nothing, I had a picture perfect experience
Advice
I applied for over 100 internships and only got call backs from less than 10 so don’t give up in your search! Also remember you are interviewing them not just them interviewing you! Make sure it’s a good fit!

Graphic Design Intern
February 2018 • Kenosha, WI
What I liked
Great work environment. Everyone is super friendly and the higher ups are very understanding. There is a lot to learn and in general it's a great experience as a graphic designer because you get a good idea of what an in-house position is like.
What I wish was different
Workload can be a bit heavy at times since there aren't many in-house graphic designers. It would be nice if there was more than one graphic design intern.
Advice
It's a great way to get your foot in the door and begin networking so be courteous to everyone.
