It was interesting working with kids and how they viewed film. They were always so excited to actually being working with the equipment and to come up with their own ideas. I feel like I learned a lot from them.
What I wish was different
I really wish it was paid. For the work and time we were doing it was too much to be unpaid. I'm now currently struggling financially for a summer of low income. There were also times when we were asked to do more than originally agreed on. I wish the kid had more time to film because they enjoyed it and learned so much more from it than the lectures.
Advice
You can learn a lot from kids even if you're teaching them.
