New York Launchpad Internship 2024 | Immersive

Framestore New York is looking for the next generation of talent with a passion for Creative Technology and Interactive Art to take part in a 4-month paid internship working in our award winning Immersive team.


Our internship program is focused on developing the candidates’ skills in a production environment. You will be matched with a mentor who will provide instruction and regular reviews of your work, in addition to inclusion in the day-to-day workings of our Immersive team. You will work alongside experienced artists and technologists, attend project reviews and take creative briefings, as well as being asked to RnD emerging technologies/techniques as they arise. The internship will offer you exposure to a variety of tools and skills that the team works with, as well as crossover with the CG and VFX teams at Framestore.

The internship will start on June 10, 2024 and finish on September 27, 2024.

Internships will be conducted in a hybrid model. Please make sure you have internet access for your remote days and that you are within a commutable distance to the New York City studio for onsite days.

Internships are paid at $20 per hour. Candidates must have current work authorization for the USA and be available to work 40 hours a week. No relocation assistance will be offered.


A passion for Creative and Emerging Technologies

A sensibility for spatial experience design (can be real or digital)

Working knowledge of 3D tools and DCCs

A creative or artist at heart, with desire to appropriate technologies to craft art and experiences

Desired skills:

Intro level experience with one or more: animation, illustration, photography, or Film.

An understanding of the content creation pipeline in Unreal and/or Unity

Knowledge of VFX process and CG authoring

Intro level experience with IoT devices like Arduino etc.

Intro level experience with Generative Art Tools

Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to your work

Ability to collaborate with internal and external teams and partners
