Graphics/Motion Designer Intern

Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and detailed individual to join our Creative team as an Graphics/ Motion Designer Intern. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing ideas to life through visually compelling motion graphics and video content. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, has a keen eye for design, and is proficient in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Responsibilities:

Video Editing:

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos, ensuring smooth transitions and a cohesive narrative.
  • Trim, cut, and manipulate video content while maintaining a strong sense of timing and pacing.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and objectives.

Motion Graphics Design:

  • Build engaging motion graphics that enhance video content and efficiently communicate key messages.
  • Use industry-standard software to craft and animate graphic elements.
  • Stay updated on design trends and incorporate innovative techniques into motion graphics projects.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal creative teams, including writers, designers, and producers, to achieve a unified vision for each project.
  • Take creative feedback and make necessary adjustments to meet project requirements.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure that all edited videos and motion graphics meet the highest quality standards and align with the company's brand guidelines.
  • Review final products for errors and inconsistencies before delivery.
  • File Management:
  • Coordinate and maintain a library of digital assets, including raw footage, graphics, and project files.
  • Ensure efficient file management to facilitate collaboration and future edits.

Qualifications:

  • A current junior pursuing an undergraduate degree
  • Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Experience with motion graphics software like Adobe After Effects or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of video production processes and techniques.
  • Creative mentality with an eye for visual storytelling.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under tight timelines and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Basic understanding of audio editing and mixing.
  • Familiarity with graphic design principles.
  • Knowledge of color grading and correction.
  • Portfolio showcasing previous video editing and motion graphics work.
