Commercial Gallery Intern

We are seeking a Gallery Intern for Aspect/Ratio Projects, a commercial contemporary art gallery in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago. Our Interns work alongside the Director on gallery functions. This includes, but is not limited to: attending openings, generating press releases, communicating with artists and art professionals, administrative work, as well as website maintenance and social media. An ideal candidate should be communicative and enjoy contemporary art, who also possesses basic Photoshop and In-Design skills. While some hours need to be fulfilled at the gallery, they may also work remotely.

Opened in 2012, Aspect/Ratio Projects is a commercial gallery focusing on contemporary based artworks from an international group of emerging and established artists. Aspect/Ratio Projects shows multi-disciplinary conceptual artists focussing primarily on painting, photography, sculpture and video.
