Social Media Interns (remote/virtual)
TrueKids1, a non-profit organization based in New Mexico that brings real-world experience to middle- and high-school classrooms and after-school programs, is seeking 2 remote Social Media interns (unpaid).
TrueKids1 provides a wide variety of programming that it would like to highlight through social media, focusing largely on Instagram (where they currently have 30,000 followers) but also eventually on Twitter as well. The Instagram link: https://www.instagram.com/truekids1/?hl=en
Duties:
Interns will assist in creating social media content, and will be overseen by social media professionals, as well as other media professionals who will serve as mentors.
Interns will be asked to work approximately 10 hours weekly, and schedules can be flexible to accommodate interns' schedules. Interns will be given access to Adobe Suite if needed.
Qualifications:
Students should have knowledge of social media platforms and content creation. Basic knowledge of graphic design a plus. We are willing to teach students specific software. Must be willing to collaborate with both Media Professionals and K-12 students on projects. Must be a team player and willing to help all team members.
