Ceramic Studio Intern
Gnarware Workshop is providing a learning experience for anyone who wants to expand their clay knowledge to join our Studio beginning January - May 2021!
Must be available 15-20hrs/ week during our open hours Wednesday-Sunday 12pm-8pm.
Interns will work directly with studio technicians with various everyday tasks
-Loading/ unloading kilns
-Clay reclaim
-Glazes
-Cleaning and sanitizing
-Assisting members, students and welcoming new people in the space
This position is a professional development opportunity and will focus on specific projects interns would like to learn more about such as glaze chemistry, teaching, research or administration.
Interns are granted studio access and are responsible for buying clay per pound that includes firing and glazing.
