As an emerging influence in the music, lifestyle, and art scene, The Nuance Magazine ignites conversations and helps create the future of culture. Across the digital landscape, we tell stories that affect our audience's daily lives and entertain as much as they inform. The Editorial team is at the core of everything The Nuance Magazine does. Our team strikes the perfect balance of thoughtful content that gives our readers everything they need to know to navigate a fast-paced culture.

Nuance is looking for a creative, concise writer that has a passion for participating in cultural conversations that span music genres, communities, and arts. The ideal candidate will be focused on stories that have the potential to shape culture and the creative process. Publish 2-4 written pieces per week, ranging from short music write-ups, interviews, and columns to larger reported features and topical stories

Contribute across a growing number of platforms, including video, live events, and social media channels to help evolve the role in ways that best enable us to cover the music industry

Other responsibilities as assigned by manager

What you'll bring:
Multiple writing samples in addition to your Resume.

Track record of writing stories that drive or advance cultural conversation and/or create news

Deep knowledge of popular entertainment and the people that make it

Comfortable working in a news cycle — including, as warranted, off-hours
