SPRING 2021 PHOTOGRAPHY INTERN
POSITION SUMMARY
The Photography Intern will support the Visual Team in all tasks related to photoshoots, video shoots, editing, and content creation. The ideal candidate will have an academic focus on photography with graphic design and videography skills.
Commitment: 5-8 hours per week. This is an unpaid internship. Applicants may check with their internship advisor to see if they are eligible to receive college credit or use the position as an official portfolio/resume builder.
This position will be mostly remote with regular mentor supervision along with in-person photo and video shoots several times per month in downtown Chicago for digital features.

KEY LEARNINGS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct photo shoots (and/or video shoots) for digital features
- Coordinate photo and video content with the Communications Team for feature production and social media promotion
- Assist Visual Team with editing, production, and organization
- Creative direct photo and video shoots for digital features
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong photography and editing skills (videography skills are a plus)
- Experience with action photography as well as commercial photography
- Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
- Top-notch project management skills
- Career interest in sports photography, commercial photography, creative direction, and/or visual content creation
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 18 years of age and enrolled in your sophomore, junior, or senior year at an accredited college or university (Chicago-area preferred)
- Must have access to a computer, social media apps, video, and camera
- Previous internship experience in Photography, Videography, or Graphic Design (preferred)
- Experience using Google Workspace, social media platforms, Zoom, Adobe Creative Suite
