Administrative / Office Assistant

Growing financial services firm located in Northbrook is seeking a strategic administrative team member to start as soon as possible.
Duties include:
  • Preparing applications for new investment accounts and insurance policies, including updating addresses and beneficiaries.
  • Inputting financial information for client projections.
  • Creating investment reports with various parameters.
  • Monitoring work flow and prioritizing work assignments.
  • Maintaining compliance files.
  • Maintain registration on various sites.
  • Implementing estate plan and trust updates.
  • Invoice tracking on financial plans
  • Handling death claim forms and insurance/annuity change forms
Qualifications and requirements include:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least one- two years full-time or internship work experience.
  • Never declared bankruptcy – credit check and fingerprinting a must.
  • Strategic thinker that can suggest process efficiencies.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and savvy with online software tools.
  • Ability to work with other support personnel.
  • Ability to support a team of three financial advisors.
