Public Relations Internship (Spring 2021)
OVERVIEW:
The Public Relations Intern will support the PR team’s efforts to promote AMCN’s entertainment network brands and programming. The PR Intern will have the opportunity to learn the mechanics of a major network television PR department by working alongside the network publicists and participating in day-to-day operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide administrative report to PR team and assist with daily tasks and necessary projects
• Creating and updating media lists and databases
• Compiling and organizing press clippings
• Research trade and industry publications
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Enrolled in undergraduate program. Preferred majors; Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Film or Journalism
• Strong work ethic and a team player attitude
• Demonstrated interest in Public Relations, Marketing and Media & Entertainment
• Problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint & Adobe Photoshop
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
