Content & Social Media Internship
Looking for a stellar social media and blog writer to be a part of building Pitch's social media presence within the outdoor community. Must be an outdoor enthusiast who will passionately craft Pitch's story through our social media and content outlets.
Job Description:
- Document and track secured partner media coverage.
- Draft content for Pitch’s blog and social media channels for Pitch and partner promotion.
- Collaborate with the executive team in planning and coordinating successful social media influencer campaigns and editorial calendars.
- Create targeted social media post for contesting/giveaways for Pitch and partners
- Utilize vital media tools such google analytics and mail chimp to optimize campaigns.
- Assist in the development of strategies for different clients through collaboration with executive teams and independent research.
- Schedule client and agency content using Facebook.
- Research new strategies, technologies and social media trends in the outdoor industry.
- Curate spotify playlist and discover new artist for Pitch’s camping tracks.
- Brainstorm a TikTok strategy and utilize best practices when planning content.
Qualifications:
- One previous internship in Social Media or related.
- A current full-time or part-time college student.
- Have an eye for photography and social media trends
- Possess a keen attention-to-detail and stellar organization skills.
- Familiar with AP style guidelines.
- Must practice a communicative and proactive approach to work, while multi-tasking and meeting strict deadlines.
- Must have a solid understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Pinterest.
- Available at least two to three days a week for 4 – 6 hours per day.
