Product Development Intern
As a Product Development Intern you will assist your team in developing, sourcing, and executing all of Kohl's private and exclusive label brands - the ones that are ONLY available at Kohl's (LC Lauren Conrad, Apt. 9, Sonoma, etc.)
What you’ll do:
- Help your office with aspects of the concept to customer process: production, costing, sample management
- Assist with daily activities: quality reviews, vendor emails, meeting set-up and product review
- Shadow and learn from all levels of your team, especially the product development coordinator (the role that interns are hired back as!)
- Develop business skills such as collaboration, communication, business analytics and increase product specific knowledge
This is you:
- Undergraduate junior
- You have a passion for all aspects of a product: sales, market relevancy, textiles, etc.
- You work with a sense of urgency and adapt well to change - "no day is the same" sounds like something you would love
- You're a great communicator- you get along with a range of personalities and backgrounds
Your major might be:
- Retail Merchandising
- Consumer science
