Stylist Marketing Internship (Spring 2021)
Garmentier is a quickly growing Fashion x Technology startup based in Chicago. We have created the first all-in-one online platform for Stylists and Personal Shoppers to start, grow and scale their businesses.
Garmentier is excited to an internship that encompasses many different aspects of the retail & technology businesses. We are looking for a hard-working team player who is extremely detail-oriented, organized, positive, and has an eye for style. The right candidate will be interested in shopping, personal styling, public relations, technology, and social media. The Garmentier environment is fast-paced and the position is hands-on. This role will start in January 2021 and requires a minimum commitment 2.5 full days per week for a three month period.
Responsibilities:
- Creating content across various digital platforms (i.e. Squarespace, Instagram, Mailchimp)
- Designing actionable email templates for stylists
- Surveying user base through polls and questionnaires
- Populating affiliate website with product training guides for stylists
- Creating announcements for new retail partnerships
- Assisting Stylist Development Manager and Marketing Coordinator with various tasks as needed
- Providing event recaps for Instagram Live sessions and Stylist Webinars
- Assisting with outreach to new stylists who may benefit from Garmentier
- Assisting with the planning and execution of Stylist events + trainings
- Drafting communication materials in the form of newsletters and blog posts
Requirements:
- Self motivated and Pro-active
- Knowledge of Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and other social media platforms Knowledge of Google Docs including Slides & Sheets and Powerpoint
- Able to multi-task
- Reliable/responsible
- Eager to learn
- Familiar with Fashion Designers/Brands/Retail is a plus
- Familiar with Photoshop and Canva a plus
- Positive energy
- Have an eye for design and style
- Must be able to work the full hourly commitments when scheduled
- Must be able to commit to receiving school credit for the internship
- Must be able to commit to 3 days per week, (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 9 AM - 6 PM), for a 3-month period.
