Internship - Exhibits - Spring 2021

The Exhibits department is committed to bringing and maintaining high-quality and engaging exhibitions to Museum guests. The Exhibits team is responsible for assessing and maintaining the quality and functionality of the Museum's permanent exhibits and temporary exhibitions.
Exhibits interns will assist the Exhibits team with day-to-day activities as well as any special assignments and projects. Daily activities include maintenance and repair of exhibit halls, checking lighting, cleaning designated exhibit components and workspaces, and responding to exhibit breakdowns in addition to other activities. Interns will gain practical experience in the necessary activities required to keep a museum functional. Interns may also have the opportunity to interact with and gain experience with various departments, as the exhibits team commonly works across Museum departments in their normal activities.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. A minimum of 60 hours is required to complete this internship.
