23 WIFR’s Award Winning News Department is in need of a skilled photographer for exciting challenge covering news.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Will consider entry level applicant. The successful candidate will have hands-on photography and editing experience. Work with new Sony digital cameras and Avid Newscutter non-linear system.  Will be trained on     ENG-Live truck and TVU mobile backpack units.

HOURS: This is a Full Time position. Flexible - Exact shift to be determined. Expect some weekends and holidays.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Post-secondary degree and previous TV news experience preferred. Must exhibit good common sense, good news judgment, have the ability to make quick and accurate decisions, have good communication skills, and be able to work under deadline pressure.

Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Pre-employment drug test required.
