Localization Game Test Associate
Experis is looking for someone passionate about video games. This will be an entry level position that requires some familiarity with video games and Bilingual abilities (Russian and English or Italian and English).
In this position you will have to identify linguistic related bugs or issues into the database and clear those by providing solutions. The job involves a lot of troubleshooting.
Job Description:
Test games to the required timescale using game builds or screenshots
Enter any linguistic related bugs, flaws and issues into the database in English and in a clear and concise manner, providing solutions to any issues where required
Proofread to ensure all text is accurately translated from the English version
Translate between English and target language when required
Ensure the game is of industry standard before release
Proactively complete assigned tasks accurately and thoroughly, and within a specified timeframe to detect (and subsequently report daily) localization bugs, software flaws and/or design issues
Ensure that no guideline-related localization bug, flaw or issue remains in the signed-off product and report them as early as possible
Proactively seek to improve knowledge of testing procedures, and where applicable, related equipment
Maintain strong teamwork within the team
Communicate accurate information to other team members
Provide regular availability updates
Perform other tasks when requested by Microsoft team
Native or fluent in target language
Fluent in English
Technically capable of performing basic troubleshooting
Experience with Windows and standard software such as Office
