Digital and Library Collections Summer Internship
The Digital & Library Collections intern will assist with organizing and digitizing items of the photo, audio, moving images, and print collections. This position will report to the Executive Director of Digital & Library Collections. This position has a focus on cataloging, to assist with providing access to the Museum’s collection.
Specific Internship Duties:
• Cataloging materials
• Creating inventories
• Rehousing projects
• Digitization projects
• Assisting collection maintenance
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- College degree in related field:MLIS or audio, photography, or moving images degrees
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CONTENTdm, PastPerfect, or similar software
- Knowledge of country music history
- Experience handling fragile and rare archival materials
