Saint Louis Art Fair Internships -Social media
The Internship experience:
· Offers practitioners the chance to provide expertise relative to theory and practice obtained in the classroom setting;
· Offers the opportunity to improve in-service training for permanent employees;
· Allows CF an opportunity to survey and evaluate prospective employees;
· Provides opportunities to establish cooperative relationships which extend beyond the Internship program.
The Art Fair's team approach to special event management mandates that all interns possess a keen sense of self-motivation, the proclivity to work positively with a variety of personality types and leadership styles, the ability to be flexible and to embrace change. Interns should possess and demonstrate a high standard of integrity and professionalism.
SOCIAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP
Responsibilities:
Monitor blogs, forums, and social networks •
Write blogs and social posts •
Post content on various social networks and websites •
Create reports •
Online outreach and promotion using various social media sites •
Grow a following on social media •
Keyword analysis
Expectations:
Knowledge of WordPress • Basic graphic design skills • Knowledge and ability to work with various social media sites such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. • Superb writing and editing skills • Ability to shift priorities quickly and easily • Good communication skills • Well-organized with the ability to work on several projects at one time • Ability to work quickly and efficiently with great attention todetail
Requirements • Currently pursuing a degree in communications, public relations, journalism, media or broadcasting, or other related field •
Able to work at least 10 hours a week remotely until June 1.
June 1 full time is required.
Interns must be willing to commit to working the weekend of the Saint Louis Art Fair. September 5-9,2019.
