Social Media & Digital Intern (non-paid, part-time, no more than 25 hours per week)
Program specifics: not paid, 6 to 8-week period (flexible to student’s needs and requirements). Part-time - no more than 20 hours per week max. Position will take place on-site at the FFC corporate office at 619 W. Jackson Blvd, in downtown Chicago.
Fitness Formula Clubs is looking for a social media & digital intern who is passionate about health & wellness and the social media and digital industries. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can think on their feet and has exemplary written and verbal communication skills (plus a passion for proofreading). Previous experience managing professional brands’ social media presence in a B2C or B2B capacity is a plus.

Activities may include, but are not limited to
· Creating content calendar for FFC and internal Ortanic brand social media channels utilizing existing content (from website, blog, club programming, Spotify playlists, YouTube, podcast, etc.) for cross-promotion across Facebook, Instagram where appropriate, Instagram Stories, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
· Scheduling and posting content on a daily basis for all aforementioned social channels for FFC and Ortanic brands
· Working with clubs and internal departments like nutrition to promote club-specific programming across social channels as necessary
· Monitoring & fielding questions, comments, inquiries, direct messages and more for brands from social media channels across all social channels; interface with the appropriate FFC or Ortanic resource to either answer or escalate as necessary
· Building a library of user-generated content on an ongoing basis
· Creating an editorial calendar for Instagram stories and create stories to coincide with other social posts, programming, events and more on an ongoing basis for FFC brand
· Performing community management on an ongoing basis for FFC and Ortanic brands – including responding to comments, commenting on community partner and audience feedback, posts, etc.
· Monitoring Yelp and Google reviews across all club properties; answering/escalating as necessary
· Running social contests on an ongoing basis, manage entries, rules/regulations, winner communication, etc.
· Utilizing FFC’s Quora account to answer fitness-related questions and to encourage brand awareness and build an audience
· Monitoring FFC club Facebook groups for activity, insights, member and employee story leads, content to feature on parent social channels, etc.
· Fielding employee and FFC-generated video content and preparing for YouTube, transcribing written content and blog posts to correspond with video description in order to efficiently cross-promote
If time permits
· Assist promotion of FitFam events on social media, especially Facebook and LinkedIn
· Assist with passive community outreach on social media for hiring purposes
· Assist with community outreach to companies for WellFit targeting purposes
