Arts Intern New York 2019

WHAT IS ARTS INTERN?

Founded by Agnes Gund in 1999, Arts Intern provides opportunities for college undergraduates to learn about nonprofit arts professions through internships in museums and cultural institutions. The program seeks candidates with demonstrated financial need and encourages applicants from diverse cultural backgrounds.

WHAT DO ARTS INTERNS DO?

Interns work in meaningful positions in many different departments, including curatorial, education, marketing, development, collections, and special events. Outside of their host organization, Arts Interns also complete a significant educational and portfolio-building component.

WHO DO WE WORK WITH?

Arts Intern partners with institutions like MoMA PS1, The Cleveland Museum of Natural History, The Frick Collection, The RISD Museum, The Museum of Fine Arts Boston, The Cleveland Art Museum, the Barnes Foundation, and numerous others.
