Who we are

Every day, journalists at the New York Times report more than 200 stories from dozens of countries around the world on topics ranging from major international events to the best way to roast a chicken. Those stories are read, listened to and watched by millions of users across our web and mobile products.
The Storytelling and Discovery teams create experiences to showcase our journalistic judgement and creativity. We are seeking two Product Design interns for this upcoming summer.
Interns are embedded on a team of designers, editors, researchers, engineers, and product managers. Current projects range from web displays to app design, article layouts to video interactions, storytelling formats to breaking news alerts. There will be opportunities to work on smaller one-off projects as well.
