Assistant Director - Video Services

Job Summary: 
The Assistant Director of Video Services is a digital storyteller responsible for filming, editing, and producing digital video content for the Department of Athletics. In coordination with the Director of Video Services this position is responsible for the management of video production efforts for 18 varsity sports at Gonzaga University and for increasing the visibility of the Gonzaga Athletics brand by producing innovative digital stories, live broadcasts on digital and TV networks, as well as in-venue productions for men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, baseball, and volleyball.

Minimum Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 2 years of video, audio, internet and technology skills in a professional work setting.
  • Knowledge of broadcast cameras and lighting.
  • Experience with live broadcasting and creative production techniques in a professional work setting.
  • Experience with video editing systems such as AVID, Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premier Pro.
  • Proficient with Photoshop and After Effects.
  • Ability to foster and maintain working relationships with individuals representing other departments in the university, the media and partners to the Athletics Department.
  • Nights and weekend coverage required for athletic events.
