ABOUT THIS POSITION
What you will do for us:
As an Event Specialist, you will be working with our Sales and Marketing team to inform potential customers of our upcoming annual Event/Sustainable Performance Forum (SPF) and to encourage them to attend in order to exceed overall registration drive objectives. You will be working closely with our global customers and potential customers, assisting our sales and marketing team to connect and respond to the conference attendees.
What we will do for you:
The internship program provides opportunities for learning and growth through the work you do and networking events, as well as cross-functional exposure across Enablon. The internship also provides essential problem-solving and leadership experience in that interns own their projects and lead the process.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and work seamlessly within a team to manage registration process for event with over 300 attendees
- Must be comfortable speaking to people on phone and must be able to confidently represent Enablon in front of clients and partners.
- Conduct follow up calls and provide attendee support via phone and email; and demonstrates exemplary customer service and hospitality.
- Responsible for effective and timely communication and coordination between internal team, clients, attendees, and vendors via phone and email.
- Connect with the attendees post the event for a feedback survey – collect responses, record and analyze.
- Thoroughly completes all projects within timelines
- Any other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or in progress)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong verbal and written communication in English
- Organization & time management skills - Ability to effectively prioritize work and multitask on multiple projects or responsibilities simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and follow through to completion
- Ability to handle responsibilities independently as well as work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com CRM, a plus
