Design Training Program- Graphic Design

A&F Graphic Designers are responsible for creating on-apparel artwork. Through vintage shopping, marketing and internet research, Graphic Designers develop seasonal graphic concepts for a wide range of apparel categories. After a concept is initialized, graphic designers develop cutting edge print, appliqué, and embroidery techniques in each brand's handwriting. Graphic Designers partner with Design and Merchandising to put the most trend-right graphics into our stores.

What Will You Be Doing?

* Drive comprehensive design processes by creating concept boards, sketches and illustrations for each season
*Support the product development process from initial sketch to finished product
*Explore and research emerging trends in the global market to deliver product that is aligned with the customer and market perspective
* Transform ideas and concepts into graphics that are applied to garments
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and deliver trend right graphic assortments in the brand handwriting
* Participate in meetings and present designs as relevant to business needs and market trends

What Do You Need to Bring?

*A degree in Graphic Design, Advertising Graphics, Illustration, or relevant field
* Fine arts background/printmaking experience is a plus
* Passion for the A&F brands and an interest in specialty retail
* Strong artistic sense and ability to create original artwork on a computer
* Strong computer skills (Illustrator, Photoshop)
* Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
*Career-driven, strong work ethic and high performance standards
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Minimum 3.0 GPA
* A strong desire for adventure & curiosity
* Ability to adapt and work in a fast paced, structured environment
*Desire to learn and hunger for more
* A Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional partners to achieve the vision of the brand
