Salary: $15-20/hr
Hours: 30-40 hrs (30 minimum)
Dates: June 3rd - August 16, 2019

Job Description
Our design team improves people’s lives by creating smarter connected experiences that span digital and physical touchpoints. We are looking for a design intern who is interested in diving in and getting their hands dirty with everything from user flows and wireframes to mockups and functional prototypes.
 
At Rocket Wagon, we believe that we are always stronger together, so our ideal designer is someone who is able to work closely with our multidisciplinary engineering team to solve challenging design problems.
 
 
Requirements:

· Must be curious and an avid learner
· Passionate about design and technology
· Demonstrable knowledge in Sketch, Illustrator, Invision, and other wireframing and prototyping tools
· Knowledge of user-centered design principles
· Visual design skills
· An understanding of current design patterns
· Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and can work with minimal supervision.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Completed at least 3 years of a 4 year degree program
· Must be able to work in the US without need of sponsorship
· Candidates must be able to work 20-30 hours a week on-site.
 
Responsibilities:
 
· Interaction design: wireframing, prototyping, microinteractions, etc
· UI and visual design: style guides, web design, comps
· Production design: prep design assets for handoff, design documentation, visual QA.
