Location Scout/Location Manager

About Levinson Locations, Inc.
Levinson Locations, Inc. is a Chicago-based locations company, specializing in providing locations for still photography, filming, and events. We’re a team of 7, growing and in need of another project manager.

Who We Are:
We LIVE to be explorers and detectives.  Investigating the unknown with a laser focus on discovery.
We see the forest AND the trees.  From the big picture to the smallest detail, it’s all our job.
We build relationships based on openness and honesty.  We will never bullshit you. Or anyone.
We Deliver.

Who You Are:
You have proven negotiation skills. Your friends marvel at your ability to always get your way. You don’t scurry away when someone says no to you. If you can’t consistently get people to say yes to you, you won’t make it here.
You get the job done. You’re willing to stand in the rain for hours, get dirty and work a 60-hour week when needed. Your teammates will rely on you to do so, and you will rely on us.
You’re quick on your feet. You’re not afraid to jump into unfamiliar situations and can figure things out on the fly. Your well-laid plans imploding 5 minutes before a shoot won’t faze you.
You can get into anywhere and out of anything. You can talk your way out of speeding tickets, get backstage at concerts and cajole a police officer who wants to shut down your production.
No detail escapes you. You’re able to keep track of myriad small details on multiple projects coming at you from many directions. You can juggle it all and say yes please, I’ll have another.
IF (AND ONLY IF) THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU, GO AHEAD AND READ THIS ALL THE WAY THROUGH

This job is not for the faint of heart.  The hours can be long, the weather can be cold or wet, and things will change just as soon as you think that you had them figured out. This job is for someone who is ambitious, flexible, savvy, quick on their feet and quick to solve problems. You should be influential, a natural leader and a great charmer of strangers. This job is also rewarding. You will be working with amazing individuals and every day you will leave the job with great feelings of accomplishment. It’s very unique.
