UX Design Intern
The intern will be tasked with reviewing and updating existing feature requirements to match the live Starz applications.
The intern will shadow members of the UX/UI team to provide support via note taking, discussion contributions, and UX documentation.
As a capstone project, the intern will take lead on a new feature from start to finish. This will include working with product to define goals and requirements, conducting any required user testing or surveys, confirming dev feasibility, and delivery of final requirements.
As a capstone, the Intern will be responsible for taking an app feature from ideation to delivery to dev. This person will be given a feature request from the product team to shepherd through the UX process. This will include:
- Working with product to define goals and KPIs for the feature
- Conduct competitive analyses to determine potential solutions
- Ideate design solutions with the UI team
- Present to chosen solution to product for approval
- Work with dev to ascertain feasibility of solution and pivot as needed
- Write detailed requirement for feature functionality and work with the UI team to get design comps.
- Handoff feature to the dev teams.
Required Skills
- Familiarity in UX software such as InVision, Sketch, Adobe Suite. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills
- Experience with conducting qualitative research studies and documenting findings
- Currently enrolled Rising Junior or Senior
