Summer 2019 Digital Render/Animation Intern

We are looking for exceptionally talented people to join our highly motivated professional and creative staff in a modern studio environment. Currently, we are seeking a Digital Render/Animation Intern to join our team. We are looking to fill this role by mid-March, to start in Mid-May.

Position Purpose and Requirements
Responsible for creating high end computer generated imagery and animations. The successful candidate must possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to depict vehicles and backgrounds in a photorealistic and highly accurate manner. He or she works closely with the Industrial Design, Engineering, and Marketing teams to leverage the digital assets created by the studio, to further enhance the product development process. Regularly participates in virtual design reviews, management presentations, and corporate communication events. 
Basic Requirements:
·       Currently enrolled in college pursuing a Bachelor’s or Post-graduate Degree in Animation, Graphic Design, Fine Arts or Computer Graphics
·       At least a Sophomore standing for undergrad at the time of the application
·       Experience in using Autodesk Maya
·       Able to work at least 12 weeks (starting the end of May or early June through August)

·       Strong interpersonal and communication skills
·       Ability to work both independently and within a team setting
·       Ability to meet tight deadlines
·       Must be able to provide housing and transportation for the duration of the internship
·       U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required – For certain positions (Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information)
·       Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B or F-1 status)
