Full Time Product Photographer
What’s The Job?
POW! photographers are some of the best product photographers in the industry and if you love shooting products then this is the job for you. As a POW Photographer you will be shooting simple products on white backgrounds everyday. Most people think this is pretty boring, but a great POW photographer will be able to find joy and adventure in mastering the nuances of crafting the perfect shadow and highlight around each product while balancing delivery deadlines. POW! Photographers are judged on the quality of their photography, their ability to meet the reasonable shot count requirements for the day.
This is NOT a "plop & drop", light-tent, iphone photography operation. Every photographer works on a full size professional set and is given time to prep and carefully light the highly varied products that come through our doors. To be a POW photographer you must have an advanced knowledge of the technical aspects of photography, a creative understanding of lighting & be at an advanced level with photoshop.
The perfect person for this job tends to be newer to the industry, have a formal degree in photography and has had some experience shooting in-house at a company. The personality type that works best in this position is someone who is detail oriented, somewhat introverted & takes pride in learning and honing their lightning skills.
Key Skills:
- Motivated to create beautiful product photographs
- Advanced lighting skills using professional strobes in a studio environment
- Advanced retouching skills using Photoshop and Lightroom
- Ability to meet minimum shot counts at around 15 - 20 photos per day.

What is Products On White Photography
Products On White Photography (or POW!) is a quick, professional and affordable solution for businesses to get product photography for their ecommerce websites. We work with hundreds of different b2b businesses who place their orders through our online system and ship their products to us be photographed.
Position Details
- Starting Rate - $15 per hour
- Full Time Position
- PTO, Holiday and Sick Time Off
- Subsidized Health Benefits after 90 days
- Onsite - no remote workers please
- Working hours are Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm
Requirements
- Photographers with an amazing product portfolios will be considered regardless of qualifications
- 4 year degree in photography that is more technical than art based preferred
- 1+ year experience of product/studio photography preferred
- This is not a remote position.

Interview Process
- Applicants must pass the Associate Photographer Certification Test with +60%. The test will be emailed to you after you apply here.
- Must Pass At Home Retouching Test
- Must Pass In-person photography/retouching test & interview
