Summary
We’re seeking a motivated intern to support our dynamic Talent Experience (TX) team. The TX Intern's responsibilities will primarily be supporting recruiting initiatives, however, will have exposure to various functions throughout the employee life cycle. If you want to help us attract, recruit and retain the best talent in the industry, this might be the perfect role for you!
 
Recruiting Responsibilities
  • Open and manage job postings on our website and discipline-specific job boards
  • File inbound applications and resumes, and correspond with applicants to confirm receipt of applications
  • Assist Talent Experience Coordinator in scheduling interviews with candidates and hiring managers
  • Steward candidates through the interview process
  • Track and organize freelance resource documentation
  • Assist the Talent Experience Coordinator in managing and building out the SCC College Recruiting Program and SCC Summer Internship Program
  • Support the team with other ad hoc projects (SCC special events, reporting, etc.)
 
HR Responsibilities
  • Manage SCC’s wellness reimbursement program
  • Assist in employee benefits administration
  • Provide support in coordinating the performance evaluation process
  • Administer and organize webinar and internal training courses
  • Assemble new hire paperwork and orientation folders
  • Set up new hire desks with supplies and orientation schedule
  • Filing and record keeping
  • PTO Reconciliation
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience or interest in Human Resources and Recruiting
  • Able to adapt and change within a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time-management skills
  • A quick study
  • Self-motivated/self-starter
