UI Design Intern
Ascent is a RegTech startup that helps firms build, manage, and automate their compliance and regulatory information. We use contemporary analytics like machine learning and language processing to build our information.
We are looking for a UI design intern to work closely with our product and development teams. You will have the opportunity to assist in designing a digital product that will be used globally by our clients and employees to hone your visual design skills. We are seeking candidates with strong design backgrounds and the ability to create intuitive designs and develop UI Patterns.
What you’ll do:
- Assist Product Designer in transforming wireframes into high-fidelity prototypes.
- Develop and refine UI patterns for a component library
- Create responsive designs
We’re Looking For:
- Proficiency in Sketch, InVision or other visual design, wire-framing, and prototyping tools
- Ability to work closely with developers to deliver code-ready mockups using Zeplin
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Strong attention to detail
- Self motivated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to present your designs.
- The ability to solve problems creatively, iteratively, and effectively.
