Studio Photography/Sales Supervisor

As a Kaman's Art Shoppes Supervisor for our Antique Photo (studio photography) department we are looking for candidates with experience in a supervisory role that are quick learners, can multi task, have outstanding communication skills, can think and work quickly, and have good problem-solving skills. You must also have cash handling experience, have good basic math skills, and have sales experience. This supervisor position is considered a working position, so you will be expected to perform similar tasks as a line employee, but at an advanced leadership level. Training for the art of studio photography can be provided – no photo experience necessary. The photography training will consist of, but is not limited to, working with experienced photographers to learn our quick-paced process for costuming, composition, image capturing, and sales.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

·        Ability to lift 50 lbs

·        Walking - sometimes 1 -2 miles per day

·        Be on feet up to 8 hours a day

·        Work in outdoor and indoor elements

·        Theme park noise exposure

OTHER SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Photography skills are helpful, but not necessary for this position

·        Training is provided for qualified applicants

·        Must be outgoing, energetic, and willing to learn exciting new skills

·        Must be dependable and available for flexible work schedules, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays

·        Must be able to work mostly outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
