Sr. Manager, Photography Studio

Primary Purpose
The Senior Manager Ecommerce Photography will represent the Coach brand to oversee all Ecommerce Photography for the Retail and Outlet sites, working within the Creative Studio team in Hudson Yards and partnering with the third-party photography studio.

  • Ensure that all imagery adheres to brand guidelines in creative and commercial execution
  • Support the production of all in-house commercial photography with a focus on Ecommerce
  • Quality assurance and approval of every Ecommerce asset, both on-figure and still-life
  • Oversee on-figure shoots and make final selects for all on-figure Ecommerce imagery
  • Mark-up every asset for post-production twice-daily according to production deadlines
  • Own Style Guide review and maintenance
  • Support with Ecommerce photography production schedules
  • Source external photographers, stylists, hair stylists, makeup artists as required
  • Manage the model selection and brand approval process
  • Propose enhancements to the imagery to offer an elevated customer experience
  • Partner with business functions including Global Marketing, Creative Studio, Marketing Operations and Merchandising to ensure photographic content and style is aligned
  • Collaborate with the third-party studio employees including Retouchers, Photographers and Stylists to deliver against the brand vision and creative standard
  • Manage the in-house commercial Photographer / Retoucher and their internal studio function
  • Perform quality assurance on every asset prior to launch and rectify any discrepancies
  • Provide guidance to Product Visualization Team on matching 3-D renders to photography

  • Ability to multi-task and ensure deadlines are met
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal
  • Skill for building productive relationships at all levels
  • Comfort working in a collaborative team environment
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Bridge
  • Experience in Capture One Pro an advantage
  • 3 + years experience in a creative environment, photo studio experience is beneficial
  • Hands on photography, styling and workflow experience an advantage
  • Knowledge of trends within the fashion and creative industry
  • Experience in managing and developing talent
