This summer our technology courses are structured as majors and electives. Majors meet for 30 hours and electives meet for 15 hours over the course of 10 days.
Under the guidance of our corporate staff, design and develop an instructor-led classroom curriculum for campers ages 8-17.
- 3D Animated Shorts Course Development (Autodesk 3ds Max)
- Create a 10-day overview with 6 learning objectives daily
- Write or update 30 hours of technical instruction adhering to a provided template
- Develop three final projects (beginner, intermediate, advanced)
Project Timeline/Deadline:
- 2 Weeks from date of contract: Draft of Overview and Day 1
- 4 Weeks from date of contract: 1st Draft of Completed 10 Day Curriculum
- 8 Weeks from date of contract: Hard deadline – Final Draft
Requirements:
- Experience teaching, tutoring, or explaining computer science, digital media or other related topics
- Familiarity with technical and/or instructional writing
- Available to participate in bi-monthly meetings held via Skype around your schedule
Compensation: based on experience and paid in full two weeks following approval of final draft.
