JOCKEY is seeking a Web Designer to join our team in Kenosha, WI (between Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI). to concept, design and execution of various digital assets. The Web Designer will be responsible for the concept, design,and execution of various digital assets, ensuring that the marketing objectives are met, brand standards are adhered to, and that all projects are completed accurately and on schedule. Balancing creative thinking with metric analysis and interpersonal skills, this role will help drive creative strategy and concepts - working closely with our Lead Web Designers and Manager- Digital Art Direction through development, refinement, and iterative executions to provide inspiring creative for all digital channels.

In this role you will:
  • Concept, design, and develop digital assets to produce user-first creative designs that drive adoption, usage and engagement.
  • Design and execute across a full range of screen sizes, digital touch points and domains including e-mail campaigns, microsites, landing pages, icons, social media assets, promotional banners, and online advertising campaigns.
  • Deliver consistent and/or complimentary experiences across all digital channels, including adaptive & responsive web and device-based design.
  • Develop multivariate testing options for email and digital design work. This includes continuous iterative cycles to optimize results.
  • Collaborate with Lead Web Designers, Digital Art Manager, email design specialists, email marketing manager and email marketing analysts to help guide creative strategy and user-centric design.
  • Ensure designs maintain a consistent look across different browsers and e-mail clients through the use of style sheets, established industry standards and QA cycles.
  • Interpret existing brand guidelines and templates, making sure designs adhere to brand standards.
  • Perform maintenance and design updates to existing web sites and emails, including content updates and error correction.
  • Present and review artwork throughout the production process and provide quality assurance of all deliverables.
  • Direct retouching, color calibration, and digital optimization of images for presentation on the web.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
  • 3+ years of professional web design experience within an agency or in-house design department supporting e-commerce and social media. Fashion and/or retail experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in the latest versions of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Dreamweaver, Atom or other text editor, Acrobat and Mac OS. Experience working with Figma.
  • Passion for design in all media, web technologies and strong attention to detail to deliver work at the highest quality standards is essential.
  • Understanding of responsive and mobile design, user interface and UX design; Bootstrap framework, prototypying experience, cross browser support, A/B testing and SEO best practices.
  • Ability or strong desire to learn to write front-end HTML/CSS code. Working knowledge of Flash, JavaScript and/or jQuery a plus.
  • Understanding of eCommerce and marketing best practices.
  • Experience with Bluecore or other email service providers a plus.
  • Video experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience working in complex, cross-functional teams with strong influence, communication and partnership skills.
