Shadow

July 2019 - August 2019 New York City, NY
“I enjoyed the opportunity to shadow a clinical nutritionist who worked specifically with people in the GI unit of Weill Cornell. Most of her patients were coming in for issues relating to IBD. I was also given work to do while waiting between patients that included doing research on different nutrition plans for patients as well as research on the diseases the patients were struggling with. This opportunity gave me a great view into a clinical side of nutrition I hadn’t encountered before. I was also able to ask questions that furthered my knowledge. ”
